Who is ZHi Han?

                                                 What's this blog really about?

A BIG BIG Hello and much appreciated THANKS  to the curious ones brave and caring enough to peer into the life and development of a gamer altar ego in the wonderful word of SKRIM.  I take it that many of you who read this will most likely play this game and know the jargon associated with it, so I will dispense spoon feeding the reader needless info.

If you're still with me, THIS blog  is for the fellow geeks in the land of SKYRIM out there.  The beautiful wonderful weirdo fellow geeks of this game. Like me. That are playing this game on a deeper level(I would love to read your blogs BTW, please post your links).

                                                       And here it is:

I will dispense or delay as much of the games attempts at adventure as possible and only because I know I will gain some kind of information(most likely a place) on this undiscovered part of the map I have never and wish to explore; since I have been brought in by the scripted events of the beginnings of the game.  Initially I wanted and created a character that was a crafter of furs, leathers and whatever other raw materials he can find, into armors and so on and have mainly kept faithful to that ideology.  However deep within the pursuit of that ideology developed a darker more sinister obsession:

BOOKS!  BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS!  BOOOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKSSSSSSSSS!!!!

I have created an inner demon.  On the surface, he is a seemingly mild mannered dark-elf who just happens to be nearby and living as an , yes actually living the life of an NPC.  But what lies beneath is this seedy, creepy character that will delve into any and all pockets, pocket books, barrels, shelves, dungeons, crypts, wherever life's adventures takes him in search of  BOOOOOKKSS!  one of this game's best secrets.  And why not books?  Apparently a few people took the time out of their lives to create these wonderful books that add so much to the lore of Skyrim and this is my way of repaying and thanking them for their efforts.  And my way of thanking them for their effort is by reading them.  I'm going to read them all.  Or at least as many as I could find wherever I may be.

I'm not in it for the skill books.  I'm in it for the deep inner folklore of Skyrim.  I'm in it for the information on that folklore.  And books contain a wealth of it.  No better place for it really.  In order to take on such a dangerous, yes I said it, searching for books in game is a very dangerous life for a Dark-Elf with not much powers and abilities...yet.  So everything's a challenge.  And because I want to explore everything I see in search of books, this daring task will take me to some dangerous lairs and possibly socially sticky situations.

BOOKS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM?

This poses an interesting question.  As I look out through my HUB in SKYRIM I would assume that, like me, every denizen of Skyrim that I see is a potential carrier of information.  They may possess a particular book on them.  And I know that within the house, shops, buildings, caves, dungeons, castles, everything I run across lies a potential for the discovery of a GASP!  BOOK!  A beautiful rich, shiny, or beaten up book on various subjects.  I am collecting them all for my library.  Perhaps someday when I own property, I will have books in all of my furnishings.

So to my fellow readers that are also taking on this awesome and dangerous task, please post a reply and let me know that you're out there.  I'd love to compare notes on your findings and what you may have learned from the game.  Thank you and enjoy.
